Yeah I figured I should change my Journal Entry, since its been like that for a month or two now...
Hige Sori desu!,
Taking two more tests this week, and life has hit the middle bar, which is a def upgrade from the downers its been in. So yeah.
I think its safe to say that I will be leaving Deviantart...not permanently as in delete the account, but rather more so from your inboxes :P since it'll be summer vacation here, and i'll be job hunting the minute i can. So cheerios to you all and see you soon enough.
I am the ghost lurking around your accounts o.0 scary!

So long.

I’ve had you for a while now, so it’ll be weird not seeing you when I open the door. I wonder how long it’ll take for me to get used to you being absent. Maybe, like a phantom limb-I think that was the word they used- you’ll send twinges of pain every time I confirm your gone.

Farewell

I hope you’ll be happy wherever you go. Have a safe trip and don’t bother to send me messages, they’ll only get stuck in the static and I won’t wonder if you’ve lost my address, or just moved on.

I’ll even say goodbye.

I won’t cry because you won’t, and I hate those mushy moments. So here are your things- that should be everything – And don’t look back.

Still a student once GED is over

Tue Jun 30, 2009, 10:23 AM
Big news you guys!

I'm now a student of the New York Make-up Artist Academy (!!)

It all happened by accident really.
Mom was looking up make-up on the internet, then the site she was on had an advertisement. "Become one of the 5 chosen, and you can get free schooling at this school."
Mom called me over, and we wrote down the necessary things, like address, name, age. Then they asked for a comment on why you want to apply.
Mom wrote it down for me while I talked, but all the while, I really didn't think anything would come out of it, because those things never really do.
A week later I get a call from the NYMA Academy saying that I made it for the first round, and now they want to interview me on the phone tomorrow!
Hehe, my heart was pounding and I couldn't concentrate on anything else (drama much?). I mean, my first interview, on the phone, and I have no idea what to say.
So I called Rumi up and asked her to help me get familiar with questions that they usually ask on interviews when applying for a job.
It was such a lifesaver! I got used to questions asked in keigo, got some pretty good replies and found out how to 'touch up' my repertoire. It worked.

The lady was oohing and aahing over my replies.....granted they came out all choppy because I've never spoken keigo in my life, but it was good. She told me that there wasn't just 5 that they have to choose from, there was also the 25 of people they choose, although its not for free, its definitely cheaper then the original price. Then she told me that the reply would take at least a week, and that if I ';passed' I would get a phone call, if not then it would come by letter.

Dad's birthday came around, and right while I was icing the cake, I got a phone call from the NYMA Academy, saying that while I didn't make it to be one of the 5, I did make it to be one of the 25. And they chose me out of 600 people!
The ONLY thing that makes it difficult, is that the text is in Japanese. But i won't let that stop me! I'll learn all the kanji's and become pro with reading it ;)
